The worst first. My unit’s projection feature was non function in battery mode. It would stay lit for about 5 seconds and the “flip projection” button did not work at all. Only when I plugged the unit into the wall did these features actually work.
The buttons for programing time and the alarm are on the side of this disc shaped unit. They are unfortunately a bit small and require a dedicated push for success. The placement of the program buttons relative to the screen and projection module is very awkward.
The radio antenna is actually an antenna wire about a foot long. I found it to be somewhat clumsey and limited, but other users may like the ability to manipulate the antenna rather than the traditional collapsable wire. Reception quality is just ok.
Once I gave up on the batteries and plugged my unit into the wall everything functioned as intended. Ease of programming is like radio reception .. just ok. Some reviews have downplayed the quality of the projection. Mine shoots onto a vaulted ceiling and while you cannot expect it to be be HD quality, I can read my projection with no trouble.
Overall This unit did not wow me. The design and function leaves much to be desired. I would suggest scoping out a different unit if you need a projection alarm clock.
